From Papantla, Veracruz.

Our dried pepper is Pimenta Dioica, internationally known as Mexican Allspice or Mexican Pimento. This species is native to Mesoamerica and naturally cultivated in the Totonacapan region of Papantla, Veracruz. The area’s optimal conditions, combined with traditional post-harvest handling, provide a sweet, spicy, and complex aromatic profile.

This is a completely natural product, free from blends or artificial treatments, ideal for culinary applications that demand intensity, purity, and freshness. Unlike Jamaican allspice, ours offers a smoother, more floral flavor with notes of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, making it incredibly versatile for both sweet and savory dishes.

It is available in two varieties based on the drying method—sun-dried or kiln-dried—both preserving their organoleptic qualities through a careful process that guarantees quality, aromatic potency, and authenticity.
